3.     You want to borrow a pencil from a friend of yours:

B.     I'd like you to borrow the pencil.

C.     I see you don't need your pencil, so I'll borrow it.


4.     Your neighbour says, ‘Would you mind using the ruler?’

A.     Yes, I do.

B.     Not at all. I'd be glad to.

C.     Yes, you can take it.


5.     When did you start using a computer?

A.     For three years.

B.     Three years ago.

C.     For a month.


6.     Why don't we go and see the new film?

A.     Yes, I don't mind.
