Dr Aisha Abd El-Rahman is one of the most famous women in Egyptian and Arab culture. She was born on 6th November, 1913. She wrote many books and articles on cultural and religious matters under the pen name of "Bint El-Shatei", this was because of the tradition she had been brought up in. She got her BA in 1939. She completed her PhD in 1951. She died at the age of 85.
